Ruth Lillian Decoste Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2021, Ruth Lillian Decoste of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Captain Jim DeCoste; her parents, James Hughes and Lenora Hughes (Gallant); and her siblings, Maurice, Francis, Dick, Reg Hughes, Doris MacCallum and Mary McTague.
She is survived by: her husband Maurice; her children, Maureen Doiron (late Roger), Brian (Christine), John (Carolyn) and Cathy DeCoste Whitlock; her grandchildren, Shawn Doiron, Jana Blanchard, Ben DeCoste, Rebecca DeCoste, Megan Grady, Pat DeCoste and Steven Whitlock; and her great grandchildren, Haley Blanchard, Brandyn Blanchard, Aiden Connor, Gabriel Doiron, Olivia Grady, Kieran Doiron, Della Grady, Aria DeCoste, Anderson DeCoste, Quincey Grady and Kamden DeCoste.
Ruth's wake will be held at Hennessey Cutcliffe Funeral Home on Friday, November 5th from 4:00 to 7:00 p. m. by invitation with COVID-19 restrictions in place.
