We are sad to announce that, on October 1, 2025, at the age of 74, Ruth MacNeill (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne MacNeill; her daughter Shannon; her parents, Marion Smethurst and John Smethurst; her siblings, Judy MacDonald, Alan, Tommy, Billy and John Smethurst; and her siblings-in-law, Neva Tremere, Donalda Kenny, Inez Whetherby, John MacDonald, Fred Weatherby and Lewis Ward.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Dawn Bradley (Robbie); her grandson Cooper Bradley; her nieces, Katherine Morris and Kim Creed; and her nephew Michael Morris.
