She was predeceased by: her spouse Perley S. Shaw; her parents, Howard Terrence and Emmeline Costain (Cannon); her children, June Anne Shaw, Uttley Shaw and Lester Shaw; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Shaw, Justin Simmonds and Kimberley MacDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Shaw (Brenda), Sumner Shaw (Cheryl), Hazel Doucette (Pius), Dorothy Shaw, Judy Stretch (Ian), Susan Mancuso, Darlene Shaw, Norman Shaw (Mary) and Sherry Shaw (Jim); her daughter-in-law Kay Shaw; and her sister-in-law Thelma Shaw. She is also survived by 36 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Donations in memory of Ruth may be made to the Canoe Cove Cemetery.
