Sarah MacQuarrie Obituary

We announce the death of Sarah MacQuarrie (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 89. Sarah will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her former husband Warren Alan Howatt; her grandson Warren Jesse Howatt; her parents, Boyd MacQuarrie and May MacQuarrie; and her siblings, Bill MacQuarrie, Annie Hollister, Muriel Allen, Margaret MacPhail and Ray MacQuarrie.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Howatt (Paul) and Stephen Howatt (Connie); her grandchildren, Benjamin, Thomas, Dashiell, Seraphina, Michael, Stephanie and Coral; and her great grandchildren, Lucy Walsh, Walden, Norah, Cleo Halpern and Elvira Halpern. She is also survived by her family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sarah may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada - Atlantic Branch.
