It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Elizabeth Chappell of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on November 30, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Myers and Gordon Myers of Mount Albion; her husband Sterling Chappell; and her daughter Cindy. She is survived by: her children, Gordie Chappell (Amy), Larry Chappell (Kathy), Wendy Chappell (Kenny) and Ted Chappell (Shelly); her grandchildren, Trevor Chappell, Sherry Lusk, Brodye, Cole, Skyler Chappell, Alex, Tanner Chappell, Zach, Nicholas and Caitlynn Chappell; and her sisters, Marie Thorne, Judy Smith (Erwin) and Brenda McIlwaine (Dave).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are encouraged to be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Charlottetown Food Bank.
