He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Florence MacSwain (Ployer); his children, Don, Ann (Dean), David (Annette) and Nancy (Edward); his grandchildren, Andrew (Lisa), Robert (Christina), John (Taylor), Rebecca (Alex), Spencer (Molly), Jenny (Javier), Vicki (Chris), Stephen (Kamila) and Kate (Tyson); his great grandchildren, Mason, Mila, Molly, Alex, River, Porter and Olivia; his sisters-in-law, Eleanor Compton and Joan Macdonald (Bill); and his father Chappell Court.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mark's Presbyterian Church (7 Tamarac Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A6T2).
