As Susan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Susan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Susan leaves behind.
When a covid fog engulfed the world, her own fog set in and she would soon be diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Mercifully, Mom's experience with this ferocious and unpredictable disease was as tempered and manageable as one could hope.
