He was predeceased by: his parents, Sterling and Etta (late Helen Millar); his siblings, Erving (late June), Edgar (Betty) and Gerald Millar (Marion); and his sisters-in-law, Winnifred, Georgina Ferguson (Douglas) and Louise McConaghy (Don).

He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Gabriel (Dennis) of Centerville, NS, Catherine Millar, Shirley MacLean (David), Wendy Millar (Dave) of Lower Sackville, NS and Betty Jean Millar (Harvey) of Kingston, ON.; his grandsons, Jeff Gabriel (Roxanna) of Waverly, NS and Andrew Gabriel (Krista) of Saskatoon, SK.; his great grandchildren, Adelyn, Mylah and Rayelle Gabriel; his siblings, Marion Profitt (late Bruce), Astrid (late Edwin) and Johnson (Windsor Arsenault); and his siblings-in-law, William Cairns (late Helen) and Amy Borys (late Peter). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, no public visitation may be held.
