He is survived by: his father William Pike (Bill); his children, Colleen Chappell, Darcie Pike-Wilkie (Wayne) and Wayne Pike Jr. (Brenda); his grandchildren, Brady (Erinn), Kiersten (Chad), Alex (Kolton), Seonna (Jarett), Kenan (Olivia), Elon (Julia), Wayne III (Adriana) and Bryden (Megan); his great grandchildren, Scottie, Easton, Oliver, Summer, Kenslee, Meadow, Rory and Millie; his brother Carl (Donna); and his siblings-in-law, Colin, Angus (Carol-Ann), Melena, Herta, Marilyn (Frank), Ola (Gary) and Florence (Rodney).
Wayne died at the Prince County Hospital in Summerside surrounded by his family on Friday, March 20, 2026, at the age of 78, having faced Parkinson's with fortitude and grace.
