He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Stevenson-Dawson; his children, Johnny, Borden-Carleton and Neal (Jamie) of Milton, ON; his stepdaughters, Jennifer and Andrea MacDonald-Barr (Derrick); his grandchildren, Kyle, Patrick, Ryan Ethan, Sydni, Julia, Jusslie, Lucas, Phoebe, Zachary and Winnie; his siblings, Carol Strongman of Poplar Grove and Sam Dawson (Lorna) of Poplar Grove; his brother-in-law Lewis Stevenson; his friend Karen Johnson of Toronto, ON; the mother of his children Jean Dawson; and also Ashley of Samantha, J. C..

Due to current Covid 19 restrictions a private family service will be held.
