He was predeceased by: his parent Lincoln Kennedy; and his brothers, Jack Kennedy and Don Kennedy. He is survived by: his parent Eleanor Kennedy; his spouse Veronica Kennedy (Brazel); his stepchild Kevin Gallant of Fredericton; and his sibling Hal Kennedy (Linda) of Orangeville.
