He was predeceased by: his wife Maureen McKenna; his parents, Elmer McKenna and Mary McKenna; his daughter-in-law Darlene McKenna; his grandson Alex McKenna; and his siblings, Pauline McKenna, Faus Webber (Johnny), Joan Turner (Barry), Francis "Spike" McKenna and Paul McKenna.
He is survived by: his children, Wilfred, Cheryl Wood (Frank), Gerard (Cindy), Russell (Annette) and Pauline Scott (Rob); his grandchildren, Doug Wood (Meghan), Stephanie McKenna (Alex), Michelle Dunn (Adam), Angela Paris (Michael), Joshua McKenna, Ian McKenna (Rebecca), Ryan McKenna (Chelsey), Morgan MacNeill (Kimberlyn), Emily MacNeill (Brittany), Robin Wood (James), Madison MacLean (Matthew), Amy MacNeill (Brad), Holly McKenna (Tanner), Morgan McKenna (Isaac), Liam Scott and Shannon Gregory (Tyler Trainor); his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Dawson, Kaiden, Alexis, Austin, Jensen, Arlo, Mason, Abby and Isabella; his sisters, Helen Bradley (late James "Brother"), Shirley Flanagan (late Alfred "Alf") and Diane Armstrong; his friend Darren Walsh; and his siblings-in-law, Donnie Armstrong, Mary Gallant (Nathan) and Winnie LeClair (late Bruce).
Due to current restrictions, a private visitation (by invitation only) will be held for family. The Funeral Mass (for family and friends) will be held at the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer on Wednesday, February 23rd (current restrictions of 50 percent capacity) at 10:30 am.
If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Provincial Palliative Care Centre.
