He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Deborah O'Connor; his parents, Bill Hart and Margaret Hart; his son Darcy Bell (Katlyn); his grandchildren, Reece and Theo; his cherished feline Luna; and his siblings, Blair Zinck (Anna), Judy Bryanton and Margie Ouellette (late Rene). He was also cherished by his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Provincial Palliative Care Centre.
