He was predeceased by: his parents, William Power and Mary Power of Tracadie Cross; his siblings, John and Sister Mary; his parents-in-law, Somerled and Marion Kelly; and his brothers-in-law, Mike Kelly and George D'Eon.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Joanne (Kader Mecellem), Andrew, Kelly (Jonathan O'Keefe) and Chris (Coreen); his sisters, Bernadette, Patricia, Margaret (John McQuaid) and Florence (Eugene Rossiter); and his sisters-in-law, Bev Kelly and Sheila D'Eon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
