She was predeceased by: her husband Claude Wood; her parents, Helen MacDonald (Currie) and Frank MacDonald; and her siblings, Hanford MacDonald, Audrey Jamison (James) and Faye McCormick (Dailes).
She is survived by: her children, Forrest Wood (Evelyn) of Inverness, Lorne Wood of Coleman, Rose Mary Gallant (Gerard) of Stratford, Johnny Wood of Coleman and Vera Perry (Ronnie) of Harper Road; her siblings, Denzel MacDonald, Jackie McIsaac (Art), Wilma McKinnon (Leland), Peter MacDonald (Sheila) and Myrna Ramsay (Wallace); and her grandchildren, Melissa Cassidy (Adam), Mina Gallant, Amanda Perry, Audrey Perry, Dailes Perry (Sharlena Ward), Leona Perry, Andrew Costain, Calvin Murray (Emma Chase), April Bernard (Colby Eagles), Jennifer Bernard, Zachary Bernard (Emma Pollock), Kendall Profit (Faith Hickey), Nathan Profit (Morgan Acheson), Beth Profit (Dylan Hutchinson) and Emma Profit.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel (419 Main St, Alberton, PE C0B 1B0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel.
