He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Hart and Annie Hart (Bryanton); his son Shaun Forster; and his sister Marie. He is survived by : his wife Janet Hart; his sister Darlene Lewis (Erskine); and his niece Debbie Lewis (Stephen Feehan).

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Chapel (351 Main St, O'Leary, PE C0B1V0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
