He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Marguerite Marshall (Crankshaw); and his siblings, Maureen Lynch (Tom), Peter, David, Malcolm, Ian (Mila) and Sylva Bainton.

He is survived by: his wife Kathie (Walsh); his children, Mark (Sara), Rianna Schlechter (Kevin), Andrea, Carla and Jennifer (Bruno); his grandchildren, Noah, Jonah, Caleb, Marcos, Lucas, Mia, Annika and Savannah; and his siblings, Steve Marshall (late Cynthia) and Helene Courtright (Jim). He is also survived by many loving sisters and brothers in laws as well as nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Belvedere Funeral Home (175 Belvedere Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A2Y9). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel (175 Belvedere Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A2Y9).
