He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Walker and Annie Walker; his brother Lloyd Walker; his parent-in-law Ivan Gallant; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Gallant, Alfred Perry and Elizabeth LeClair.

He is survived by : his spouse Debbie Walker; his children, Tracey, Lisa, Betty Jo Walker and John David Walker; his grandchildren, Tabitha, Dominic, Terran, River, Brandon, Zackary, Jed, Elizabeth and William; his siblings, Doug Walker (Rose), Vickie Cobill (late Ted) and Jean Blue (late Lynwood); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Bouchard (John), Mary Perry (Dwight), Bonnie Gillis (Gar), Allison Gallant (Carla), Jennifer Gallant (Fred), Donnie Gallant (Sandra), Wendy Silliker (Ray), Wayne Gallant (Bev), Kent Gallant (Sharon) and Walter LeClair.
