He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Dunsford and Beverly Dunsford; his brothers, Hal and Bobby Dunsford; his father-in-law Larry Doiron; and his siblings-in-law, Shawna Gentles and Dave Lawlor.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Dunsford; his children, Adam and Amanda Dunsford; his siblings, Linda Dunsford, Dianne MacDonald (Jeff), Barb O'Donnell (Paul) and Walter Dunsford; his mother-in-law Alberta Doiron; and his brother-in-law Darren Doiron. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Diabetes Canada.
