He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Howard and Vina Howard (MacPhail); and his brother-in-law Gordon Hermann. He is survived by: his child Daryl (Allison); his granddaughter Lorelei; the mother of his child Sandra Howard; his sister Norma Hermann; his nephew Philip Hermann (Isako Suzuki); and his niece Jill Power (Paul).
