He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank and Geraldine; his siblings, Hope Casford and Thomas Larter; and his nephew Logan MacLean.
He is survived by : his spouse Nesta; and his siblings, Rebecca MacLeod (Robert), John (Gail Wiggley) and Dan Larter (Dot). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
