It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Velda Grace Gass of Cornwall, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Duncan MacKinnon and Flora MacKinnon (MacFadyen); her husband John Gass; her siblings, Berton MacKinnon, Henry MacKinnon, Louis MacKinnon (Stella), Lloyd MacKinnon, Florence Docherty (Bert) and Erma Cudmore; and her sisters-in-law, Roma MacKinnon and Edna MacKinnon.

She is survived by : her sons, Lloyd Gass (Janie), Barry Gass (Donna), Alan Gass (Debbie), Blake Gass, Philip Gass (Donna), Lynwood Gass and Lincoln Gass; her grandchildren, William (Dorothy), Dale (Jennifer), Scott, Krista, Tori (Nilton), Brodie (Amber), Alana (Chris), Malinda (Ryan), Ryan, Courtney, Brittany and Blake; her nephew Lloyd MacKinnon; and her brother-in-law Clive Cudmore. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
