It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Verna Mae Green of Cornwall, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on August 27, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Verna Mae Green to show support.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Franklin "Tom" and Alberta Sanderson; her daughter Pauline Carmody; her grandson Jordan Carmody; her sister Marjorie MacLean (Ira); and the father of her children Wendell Green.

She is survived by : her children, Dianne Dowling (Bill), Allan Green (Michelle), Beverley Taylor (Darren) and Nancy Green (Eric Carnell); and her grandchildren, Adam, James, Nicholas, Amanda, Danielle, Mikaella, Alyson and Ryerson. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.

Verna's wake will be held at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Funeral Home on Monday, August 30 from 7 - 9 p. m. With COVID-19 restrictions in place, visitation will be in cohorts of 50 at a time.

If so desired, donations may be made to the PEI Heart and Stroke Foundation or the PEI Humane Society.
