We bid farewell to Vernon Lorne Hardy of Elmsdale, Prince Edward Island, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 25, 2026 at the age of 104. Vernon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean Hardy; his son Roger; his siblings, Muriel, Cleve, Nadine, Eldon, Mable, Christina, Fred, Allison, Elizabeth and Dorothy; Emmerson Arthur and Hazel Olga Hardy.
He is survived by: his children, Lorna McNeill (Clair) of Huntley, Gordon (Brenda) of Summerside, Linda Oliver (late Clayton) of Woodvale and Ian of Elmsdale; his grandchildren, Lorne, Michael, Stephanie, Shane, Curtis, Tamara, Karan, Dawn, Stuart, Aaron, Laura and Natalie; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Hardy and Alice Whitlock. He is also survived by his 26 great-grandchildren, and by his 16 great-great-grandchildren.
