He was predeceased by : his parents, Mary and Elmer; his wife Carol; his sons, Carey and Brett; and his stepson Adam Pawlak.

He is survived by : his sister Audrey Hicks (Wayne); his children, Lisa (Richard Coleman), Shawn (Sarah) and Tyler (Kate); his stepdaughter Alyssa Pawlak; and his grandchildren, Connor, Lila, Sam, Rowan, Harper, Leo and Sullivan.

Memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
