He was predeceased by : his brother Henry; and his uncle Lukas Real Frederick Gavin. He is survived by : his grandparents, Percy, Wanda Henry (Gavin-Henry) of Georgetown, Carol Knockwood (Bruce) of Charlottetown, Todd and Tania Knockwood of Scotchfort; and his aunts and uncles, Bradley Knockwood, Richard Henry, Ray Knockwood, Carmen Henry, Lucy Knockwood, Kellie Young (Henry) and Norah Knockwood. He is also survived by his parents and big brother.

A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM. A graveside service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at the St. James Catholic Cemetery (90 Gordon St, Georgetown, PE C0A1L0).
