John Charles Gotell Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2025, at the age of 68, John Charles Gotell of Georgetown, Prince Edward Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Gotell and Theresa Gotell (Victor); and his son Blair. He is survived by: his wife Naomi Gotell (Stewart); his children, Seth, Matthew and Molly; his grandchild Britney; his siblings, Anne Oysterbed Bridge (Edwin Peters) of Georgetown, Darlene Montague (Norman Coffin) of Georgetown, Kevin Gotell (Judy) of Georgetown, Terri (Derick O'Quinn) of Georgetown and Mark Gotell (Andrea) of Georgetown; his mother-in-law Pauline Archibald; his sisters-in-law, Leigh (Robert McQuillan) of Georgetown, Nettie Llewellyn of Georgetown and Faye Stewart of Middle Musquodoboit, NS.; his father-in-law William T. Stewart; and his stepfather-in-law John Archibald.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ferguson Logan Funeral Home (40 Wood Islands Rd, Montague, PE C0A1R0). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the St. James Catholic Church (90 Gordon St, Georgetown, PE C0A1L0).
