He was predeceased by: his fathers-in-law, Ellsworth Bryanton and Andrew Campbell; his grandchildren, Tara-Lynn Adams, Wiley Adams and Joseph Bruce Adams; his brother Wayne Adams; his nephew Lorne Adams; and his niece Tina-Marie Bryanton.
He is survived by: his wife Shelia Adams (Bryanton); his daughters, Angie Adams (Nathan) and Amanda Adams-Reilly (Mark); his grandchildren, Gage Adams, Kalev DesRoches, Zachary DesRoches, Ebony Adams, Ocean Lily Adams and Kennedy Reilly-Richardson; his brother Stephen Adams; his mother-in-law Wilma Campbell; and his sisters-in-law, Anne Keefe, Margaret Armsworthy (Stephen), Andrea Stewart (Kenny) and Bev MacPherson (David). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
