The passing of Jennie I. Macneill (Kensington, Prince Edward Island) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 30, 2025 at the age of 96. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Moore and Annie Moore (Toombs); her husband John Macneill; her siblings, Peggy Skinner (Alexander), Ethel Scott (Hector), Herbert Moore and Bessie Stewart (George); her sister-in-law Mary Lowther (Edward); and her children-in-law, Carl Ostridge and Juliet.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Ostridge, Elizabeth Orr (Gordon), Robert (Jo-Anne Caza) and David; her grandchildren, Jason Ostridge (Jamie Ambrose), Hayley Ostridge, Jennie Ellen Orr (Michael Bergeron), Megan Orr (Devan Boertien), Kayla Jane Macneill, John Ross Macneill and Michael Macneill; her great grandchildren, Charlotte Ostridge, William Bergeron and Lilah Boertien; and her sister-in-law Myrna (Moore). She is also survived by numerous nieces and, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davison Funeral Home (7 Sunset Dr, Kensington, PE C0B1M0). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cavendish United Church (8543 Cavendish Rd, North Rustico, PE C0A1N0). A burial was held on Friday, July 4th 2025 at the Cavendish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cavendish Community Cemetery or the Beach Grove Recreation Fund.
