With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jessie M. Thompson (Kensington, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on July 28, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph E. Thompson (Bud); her daughter Susan Dawn Thompson; her parents, Donald MacEwen and Lorna MacEwen; her parents-in-law, Horace and Florence Thompson; and her siblings-in-law, Hillard, Elda Thompson and Joan Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Thompson (Diane), Linda Shelvey, Hunter River, David Thompson (Barb), Margate, Garth Thompson (Maria), Scott Thompson (Wendy) of Upper Tantallon, NS and Janet Keen (Chris Freeman); her siblings, Hodge MacEwen (Jerry), Dean MacEwen (Marilyn) and Alan MacEwen (Kathie Doiron); and her brother-in-law Wendell Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Davison Funeral Home (7 Sunset Dr, Kensington, PE C0B1M0). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Davison Funeral Home Chapel (7 Sunset Dr, Kensington, PE C0B1M0). A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Geddie Memorial Cemetery.
