He was predeceased by : his sister Pauline Coulson; his parents-in-law, Crawford and Blanche Picketts (Weatherby); and his siblings-in-law, Gladys Smith, Kathleen Roberts, Marion Palmer, John Picketts, Clifford Picketts, George Picketts, Duncan Picketts and Darrell Picketts.

He is survived by : his wife Judy Coulson (Picketts); his children, Peter Coulson (Shellie) and Margate; his grandsons, Jeremy Coulson (Tara) of Moncton, N. B. and Joshua Coulson of Halifax, N. S.; his siblings, Lorraine Hynes (Claire), Joy Coulson, Robert Coulson (Lori) and Mary Smith (G. L.); and his siblings-in-law, Isabelle Picketts, Myrtis Boulter, Helen Warren and Allen. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and, cousins.
