He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cann and Florence Cann (Currie); his siblings, Louis, Hubert, Nelson, Wyman, Carmen, Lloyd, Daisy and Vera; and his sisters-in-law, Helen and Hazel.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy (Simmons); his daughters, Helen (John), Betty (Jim), Heather (Kevin) and Linda (Todd); his brothers, Ed, Roy and Ronnie; and his brother-in-law Freeman Jr.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Davison Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Davison Funeral Home Chapel.
For those who wish, donations may be made to the Prince County Hospital or the Bedeque Baptist Church in Central Bedeque.
