Shirley E. Paynter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley E. Paynter (Kensington, Prince Edward Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis I. Paynter and E. Christine Paynter; her husband Clarence J. Paynter; her son Kevin Paynter; her siblings, Esther MacEachern (Hughie) and Leslie Paynter; and her brothers-in-law, James Paynter and Cecil Paynter (Jean).
She is survived by: her sons, John (Dena), Willis (Brenda), David (Gail Henderson) and Lorne (Sheila); and her siblings, Donnie Paynter (Sandra), Lyman Paynter (Barb Gordon) and Linda Durdle (Calvin). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 1 step grandson, 6 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Davison Funeral Home Chapel.
