With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan McCarvill (Kinkora, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on November 25, 2021. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan McCarvill to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her adoptive parents, Russell McCarville and Katie McCarville (Hamill); her parents, Harold Johnston and Genevieve Johnston (Hamill); her husband Les; her sons, Gary and Ronnie; her foster daughter Shirley Diorio (Vic); and her siblings, Keith, Vernon Johnston, Ruth Dempsey, Patricia Gilbert and Pauline Alsop.

She is survived by : her children, Brian McCarville (Ruth), Mary MacKay (Kent) and Darryl McCarville of Calgary; and her brothers, George Johnston (Pat), Canmore and Willard Johnston (Anna). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
