With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Leonard Thomas of Lennox Island, Prince Edward Island, born in Truro, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 9, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his mother Josephine Thomas MacLean; his former life partner Irene Sanipass; his son Jeffery; and his granddaughter Jenna. He is survived by : his wife Marlene Thomas (Sapier); his children, Patsy Thomas Gavin, Lenny Thomas (Jamie), Randy Thomas, Paula Thomas Clory (Jonathan), Irene Kilbride (Mike), Christopher Sapier (Connie), Robert Augustine (Lor), Joseph Thomas (Rhonda), Nicole, Jeanine and Natalie; and his siblings, Willy (Karen), Donnie and Gregory (Christine).

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church.
