It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Batchilder of Miltonvale Park, Prince Edward Island, born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on February 4, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milford Batchilder and Margaret Batchilder (McAleer); his former wife Susan Batchilder (Milligan); his siblings, Gerald, William Batchilder and Shirley Batchilder; and his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Stobbs (Art), Barbara Douglas-Hiscock (Bill), Howard Mahar, Don Ross, James Milligan (Dianne) and Thomas Milligan.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon MacDonald; his stepchildren, Michael (Carina) and Sarah (David); his sister Marie Mahar; and his siblings-in-law, Gloria Batchilder, Arlene Batchilder, Margaret Ross, Pauline Jacobs (Willy) and Art Hiscock. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (PEI) or the Alzheimer Society of PEI would be appreciated.
