Alex leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Alex’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Alex will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He is survived by: his parents, Amy Rooney (Amy Van Delinder) and Matthew Rooney; his brother William; his grandparents, Tom Van Delinder and Nancy; his uncles, Tom (Renée) and Kurt (Norie); his aunt Beth; his grandparents, Helen, Charlie Mac Donald and Joe Rooney (Darlene); his uncle Luke Rooney (Heather); and his aunt Charley McGivern (Donal). He is also survived by his many cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ferguson-Logan Funeral Home (40 Wood Islands Rd, Montague, PE C0A 1R0).
