She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Acorn and Jenny Acorn; her sons, Harland MacQuarrie and Shane Matheson; and her siblings, Etta Trainor (Austin), Billy Acorn, Sarah Horton (David), Heather Daley (Vincent), Letty Wanchulak, Margaret Acorn, Mary Acorn, Vernon Acorn, James Acorn, Lonnie Acorn and Harold Acorn.

She is survived by: her children, Leslie Matheson, Donnie Chapman (Amanda) and Wendell Matheson (Kelly); her grandchildren, Joshua Matheson (Jessica), Alex Matheson, Dallas Chapman, Carmen Matheson, Caitlin Slaco (Jon), Lea Greensides and Bob Gordon (Jaime); her great grandchildren, Jace, Jensen, Ryker and Eryn; her siblings, Armon Acorn (Marian), Sam Acorn (Ruby), Edward Acorn and Margie Acorn; and her niece Stacey Laybolt (Bill). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
