It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Eleanor Gorrill of Montague, Prince Edward Island, born in O'Leary, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on October 8, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her boyfriend Jimmy Hayter; her parents, Lyman Gorrill and Mildred Gorrill (Adams); her sister Evelyn MacLure; and her sister-in-law Lori.

She is survived by : her children, Jerry Lyons, Charlene Hayter (Jamie) and Steven Hayter (Jeanie); her grandchildren, Wyatt and Addyson; her brothers, Emerson Gorrill, David Gorrill (Joan) and Allison Gorrill; her nieces, Amanda, Rolanda and Heidi; and her nephew Aaron.
