She was predeceased by : her husband Everett Garrett; her parents, Wallace R. Mackenzie and Rose Mackenzie (Miller); and her siblings, Myrtle MacLeod, Margie MacLeod, Elsie Taylor, Roddie and Murray.

She is survived by : her children, Henry (Claire), David (Valerie) and Sharon (Andrew); her grandchildren, Chad (Amy), Dennis (Nancy), Brittany and Jennifer (Allan); and her great grandchildren, Denver, Brooklyn, Breeanna, Victoria, Clara and Ivy.
