Isabel M.M. MacKinnon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Isabel M. M. MacKinnon (Montague, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on November 4, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Isabel M. M. MacKinnon to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband John D. MacKinnon; her parents, Dingwell MacLeod and Mary MacLeod (Howlett); her nephew Alan MacLeod; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Frederikson, Florence Stewart (Clarence) and Katherine MacNeil (Eric).
She is survived by: her children, Sandra (Peter Boswall), Susan, Kinross, Johann (Bernard Holland) and Hughena of Victoria, BC.; her grandchildren, Dr. Patrick Holland (Jenna MacGregor) and Ellen Holland (Andrew MacNair); her sister Jean Frederikson (Charlottetown); and her sibling's children, David MacLeod (Margaret) and Kim MacLeod.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ferguson Logan Funeral Home (40 Wood Islands Rd, Montague, PE C0A 1R0). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's United Church (7679 PE-1, Vernon Bridge, PE C0A2E0).
If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Isabel may be made to Uigg- Kinross-Grandview Women's Institute, St. Andrew's United Church Cemetery Fund, or a charity of your choice.
