We announce the death of Joan Frances (Compton) Pond (Montague, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on May 31, 2026, at the age of 94. Joan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norma Compton and William Compton; her siblings, Gordon and Norma; and her son Andrew (Kenneth).
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Pond; her children, Joan, Janet, Allison and Christine; her sons-in-law, Bentley, Earl and Jack; and her grandchildren, Ethelle, Beatrice and Callum.
