He was predeceased by: his wife Elva Ross (Carver); his parents, William Ross and Minnie Ross (Acorn); his son Darren; his stepdaughter Ann Stewart; and his sisters, Lillian, Jessie and Mary.
He is survived by: his children, Lillian MacKenzie (Jackie), Doreen Compton (Doug), James Ross, Ruby Ross (Sam Acorn), Gloria Stacey (Tommy), Bill Ross (Jessie), Betty Robinson (John) and Rollie Ross (Lynn). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
