He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Lannigan and Helena Lannigan (Collins); his son Jamie (Diane); his siblings, Harold (Evelyn), Joan Llewellyn (Reigh), Vincent, Jack (Tina), Arthur and Maxine Bell; and his parents-in-law, Leonard and Melvina Smith.

He is survived by : his wife Shirley Lannigan (Smith); his children, Leonard (Lauretta), Darlene Lannigan-McGee, Charlene Campbell (Raymond), Joey (Andrea) and Phillip (Kanda); his brother Larry Lanigan (Jean); his siblings-in-law, Mary Lanigan (late Arthur), Judy MacMillan (Roy) and Sam Smith (Debi); and his grandchildren, Devan, Stephanie, Tyler, Laura, Steven, Courtney, Chantal, Amanda, Tony, Samantha, Halley, Mitchell, Matthew, Sophie and Ben. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and beloved nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
