It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred (Acorn) Doreen MacLean (Montague, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Artimus Acorn and Mabel Acorn; her husband Donald MacLean; her son Donnie MacLean; her grandsons, Daniel Maclean and Brian MacBeth; her siblings, Marjorie, Josie, Hannah, Marie, Thelma, Buddy and Eddie; and her close friend Robert "Bo" Roberts.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Singleton (Ronnie), Judy MacLeod (Fred), Norma Albrecht (Raymond) and Marlene MacLean (Kenneth Fraser); her grandchildren, Kelly, Tracy, Veronica, Ronnie, Travis, Kimberly, Katrina, Amanda, Jessica, Theodore, Daisy, Karen, Victoria, Jennifer, Robert and Stephanie; and her siblings, Jenny Maclean, Laura Compton, Ella Langley (Rollie), Lewie Acorn and Alfie Acorn. She is also survived by Great Grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home (40 Wood Islands Rd, Montague, PE C0A1R0). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home Chapel (40 Wood Islands Rd, Montague, PE C0A1R0). A burial was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at the Belfast Cemetery.
Donations in Millie's memorial may be made to the Eldon Womens Institute or the Millennium, Club.
