He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack McGuigan and Cecily McGuigan; his wife Clara; his daughter Theresa O'Brien; and his siblings, Norbert, Melvin, Doris, Winnifred, Beatrice, Eileen and Bernice.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Kenny (David), Joanne McGuigan, Kevin McGuigan (Nancy), Anita McGuigan and Amanda Laverty (Jason); his son-in-law Lawrence O'Brien; his grandchildren, Kelly Lynn, Justin, Dylan, Quentin, Jake, Brent, Amy, Aliya, Chelsea, Alex, Ella, Sybil and Sebastian; and his great grandchildren, Quentin, Lyric, Chevelle, Damon, Ezra, Vivienne and Joziah.
