He was predeceased by: his parents, Randall Richards and Annie Richards; his father-in-law Preston MacSwain; and his sister-in-law Nancy MacSwain. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Richards; his stepdaughters, Rachel MacSwain (Shawn Anderson) and Jessica Collings; his grandchildren, Tori MacSwain (Denver Mahar) and Liam Anderson; his sisters, Esther Martell (late Dougie), Gail MacKenzie (Guy), Irene Holt (Kelly), Donna Richards and Peggy Richards (Dave Demoe); his aunts, Edith Young (late John) and Cathy Richards (late Boyd); his mothers-in-law, Beth MacSwain and Glenda MacSwain; and his siblings-in-law, Alice Jean Walker (Tom McKenzie), Virginia Jackson (Jerry Morin), Donna MacSwain (Jamie Clarey), Sherry Sheppard (Nick) and Michael MacSwain (Pamela Fitzpatrick). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
