He was predeceased by: his parents, Mickey MacDonald and Marguerite MacDonald (Sharkey); and his brothers-in-law, Fred Myers and Jim Larkin. He is survived by: his sons, Ryan and Ian MacDonald; his grandchildren, Nora and Rowen MacDonald; and his siblings, Patsy Myers, Anne Morrison (Norbert), Helen Larkin, Claire MacDonald, Rita Arsenault (Mark), Jerome MacDonald (Lorraine), Edith MacDonald and Edward MacDonald (Sheila).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home (40 Wood Islands Rd, Montague, PE C0A 1R0). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. George's Catholic Church.
