With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy W. Penny (Montague, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on May 10, 2024. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roy W. Penny to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Curtis Penny and Nora Penny; his brothers, James and Lewis; and his brother-in-law Ronald Johnston.

He is survived by : his wife Phyllis (Higginbothem); his daughters, Vickie (Chucky Martell), Darlene (Clayton Cuddy), Nancy (Craig Bagnall) and Rosalie (Allan Glover); his grandchildren, Lucus (Noah), Patrick, Samara (Brent), Brielle (Logan), Danton (Hannah), Isabella, Lylah and MacKenzie; his great grandchild Adam; his sisters, Clara (David MacQuarrie) and Cora Johnston; and his sister-in-law Esther Penny (Toppy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home (40 Wood Islands Rd, Montague, PE C0A1R0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Murray Harbour Cemetery.

Donations to the Murray Harbour Fire Department or Kings County Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.
