It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Reginald MacLaren (Montague, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on February 15, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank MacLaren and Lyle MacLaren (Sanderson); and his siblings, Melvin, Keith, Victor, Alfred, Lorne, Maurice, Gladys, Rhoda, Jean, Freda, Lois and Irma.
He is survived by: his wife Allene (Beaton); his children, Greg (Terry), Carol VanWiechen (Andrew), Rhoda MacPhee (Rick) and Gail Thaxter; and his grandchildren, Michael MacLaren (Jen), Mitchell MacLaren (Caitlin), Marissa Ellis (Parker), Trevor VanWiechen, Alanna VanWiechen and Ewen MacPhee. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
